JHP Electrical Takes on Charity Firewalk for Local Causes

Last week, the JHP Electrical team stepped well and truly out of their comfort zone as we proudly sponsored and took part in the Charity Firewalk in support of One YMCA and Home-Start Watford and Three Rivers.

As headline sponsor, we were honoured to be part of such a powerful event, backing not only a unique challenge but also two incredible charities whose work makes a genuine difference to local families who need support the most. Both organisations provide essential services across our community, and we are proud to stand alongside them.

Facing the Flames Together

The firewalk itself was an unforgettable experience. With over 40 participants taking part, the atmosphere was full of energy, determination and community spirit. Each step across the hot coals represented courage, resilience and a shared commitment to raising vital funds.

We’re incredibly proud of our team members who took on the challenge without hesitation. Their enthusiasm and bravery truly reflected the values we hold at JHP Electrical — teamwork, dedication and a willingness to go the extra mile for a great cause.

A Fantastic Result

Together with fellow firewalkers, supporters and donors, the event raised a amazing £7,000+ for One YMCA and Home-Start Watford and Three Rivers. This contribution will go towards helping families access housing, guidance, and support during difficult times.

A Big Thank You

Events like this are only possible thanks to the combined efforts of many individuals and organisations. We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who:

A special mention goes to Metropolitan Bushey, UK Firewalk and Buttercup Photography for their support in making the event such a success.

Looking Ahead

At JHP Electrical, we are passionate about giving back to local communities. Taking part in events like this not only strengthens our team but also reinforces our commitment to supporting local initiatives that make a lasting impact.

We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to get involved in!
